Jake Berryhill

Jake grew up in a Baptist church and heard the gospel early, but lacked genuine faith. In high school, the Lord opened his eyes to the gospel, granting him new life. Inspired by his youth pastor, Jake pursued an education in the Bible, earning degrees from Boyce College and The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.

In 2017, he moved to Charleston, SC as part of Holy City Church’s core team. He served as a deacon, leading youth ministry and other teams while working in construction project management. Jake serves presently as a lay-pastor where he is passionate about strengthening the church locally. He is married to Lydia, and they have three children.
