Jake Berryhill

Jake grew up in a Baptist church and heard the gospel early, but lacked genuine faith. In high school the Lord confronted Jake where he realized his need to repent of his sins and believe in Christ Jesus for eternal life. The Lord granted new life!

The influence of Jake's youth pastor was instrumental in his desires to know and teach the Bible. Jake pursued an education in the Bible, earning a Bachelors degree from Boyce College and an Master's of Divinity from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.

In 2017, he moved to Charleston to join Holy City Church as a member of their church planting core team. He served as a deacon where he led youth ministry and hospitality. After working 9 years in Construction Project Management, Jake presently serves on staff as pastor/church planter at Pillar Community Church. He is married to Lydia, and they have three children.
